There is a moment on the snow you never forget. It might be your first slope on your own, or the one where you finally understand how to turn, or simply a morning when the sky is clear, the slopes are still untouched and you feel exactly where you’re meant to be. At the Monte Bianco Ski School, we work to make that moment happen, and when it does, to make it yours forever.
We’ve been doing it for ninety years, in one of the most beautiful ski areas in Italy, with over 200 ski, snowboard and telemark instructors who know this mountain like the back of their hand. Their own instructors brought them here, once. And now they are the ones bringing us their students. That’s what we mean by family: not just a word, but a story that repeats itself season after season, on the same snow, beneath Mont Blanc.

Each lesson hour consists of 55 minutes of instruction.

3 ways to experience winter in Courmayeur.
Not everything is found on groomed slopes. Some want to leave the track and find snow where no one has passed yet, and for that we have our mountain guides and freeride instructors. Others prefer a different pace, slower and quieter, and discover in cross-country skiing a completely new way of being on the snow. And some bring their children to the mountains for the first time and want that first time to be beautiful, safe and fun. That’s why the kids club exists, a space designed especially for the little ones, where snow becomes the happiest place in the world.
Freeride
Our instructors and mountain guides take you where the snow is untouched, choosing the route based on the day’s conditions and your level. This is not a reckless adventure: it’s a guided, safe experience that lets you discover a different mountain from the one you see from the chairlift.
