100 Years of History
The story of Courmayeur and its Mont Blanc is always linked to the ambition and determination of its people, Malik sometimes shy but with a big heart. So is the section devoted to skiing could only have been written in the same way.
It was the spring of 1936 when a small group of pioneers of skiing – led by Otto Bron, founding father and first technical director – had the crowds and great idea to found on the glacier du Géant, Europe's highest ski school at 3246 m The name of the ski school was "Summer ski school of Colle del Gigante" most commonly known today by all Monte Bianco Ski School. It has been more than 80 years since that moment of extraordinary ambition and still today the ski instructors from across Italy look to "Mont Blanc" as at the apex in the teaching of this wonderful sport. Today is the Queen of Italian ski resorts and Lifted the Monte Bianco Ski School is the largest and the most prestigious Italian ski school. Then as now the professionalism of his teachers and the continuous effort in innovation of teaching and its products keep up the value of a tradition that has always been as a goal of his philosophy fun, security and the relationship with the Mountain.
